Darkmoon Faire

There is a gnoll npc in the Darkmoon Faire who gives out 'fortunes' after you answer 2 of his questions. These fortunes are in fact 2 hour buffs - and there are 9 of them to choose from if you answer questions with the right answers. After quite a bit of investigating here are the combinations:

Qu1 Answer — Qu2 Answer — Buff
1—————— 1—————— +10% Damage
1—————— 2—————— +10% to all resistances
1—————— 3—————— +10% armour
2—————— 1—————— +10% spirit
2—————— 2—————— +10% intellect
2—————— 3—————— +10% to all resistances
3—————— 1—————— +10% stamina
3—————— 2—————— +10% strength
3—————— 3—————— +10% agility
4—————— 1—————— +10% intellect
4—————— 2—————— +10% spirit
4—————— 3—————— +10% armour

(this information was stolen from the official boards)
————————————————————————————————————————-

Un'Goro Crystals

Pre-req Quest: Crstals of Power
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=4284

Objective:
Collect 7 Power Crystals of each color: red, blue, yellow, and green. Bring them to J.D. Collie at Marshal's Refuge (middle of the north wall).

The crystals are a very common spawn in Un'Goro Crater especially round the edges and round trees.

Follow On Quests from J.D. Collie:
The Northern Pylon
The Eastern Pylon
The Western Pylon

Go to the pylons and click on them to read.
The Eastern Pylon 77,50
The Northern Pylon 56,12
The Western Pylon 23,59

Then go back to J.D. Collie, do the follow on quest Making Sense Of It (just keep talking to him) and he will give you an instruction book telling what crystal combinations to use in which pylons for what buffs.

Collect the coloured crystals - go to the correct pylon and you'll get 6 crystal items that give you buffs.

Northern Pylon

Crystal Charge (10 yellow + 10 red)
Use: Inflicts 383 to 517 fire damage to targets in a 3
yard radius.
Cooldown: 1 min

Crystal Restore (10 yellow + 10 green)
Use: Heals the target of 670 damage over 15 seconds.
Cooldown: 3 mins

Eastern Pylon

Crystal Force (10 blue + 10 green)
Use: Increases the target's Spirit by 30 for 30 minutes.
Cooldown: 10 mins

Crystal Spire (10 blue + 10 yellow)
Use: A crystal shield surrounds the friendly target,
doing 12 damage to anyone who hits her. Lasts 10
minutes.
Cooldown: 5 mins

Western Pylon

Crystal Ward (10 red + 10 green)
Use: Increases the target's Armor by 200 for 30 minutes.
Cooldown: 10 mins

Crystal Yield (10 red + 10 blue)
Use: Decreases an enemy target's Armor by -200 for 2
minutes.
Cooldown: 3 mins

(Unlike the Darkmoon data above this data was collated by me).
————————————————————————————————————————-

Libram of XXXXXXXXXXX

The crystals above are also used in some of the Libram enchants…..

These Librams give you an enchantment to two slots that are not normally enchantable… Head & Legs.
As per usual these enchantments don't stack with other things like armour kits on legs.
Below is a list of the extra quest items you need but please be prepared to loose 30G as well.

Libram of Voracity
Hand in: Mathredis Firestar - Burning Steppes
Reward: +8 str/agi/sta/int/spi (only 1 stat of the 5)
1 Black Diamond
4 Crystal Force (10 green & 10 blue crystals at East Pylon in Un'Goro Crater)
4 Whipping Root Tuber (Felwood quests - read notes at http://thottbot.com/?i=2948 )

Libram of Resilience
Hand in: Mathredis Firestar - Burning Steppes
Reward: +20 fire resistance
1 Black Diamond
4 Crystal Spire (10 blue & 10 yellow crystals at East Pylon in Un'Goro Crater)
1 Burning Essence (Drop - http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=11751 )

Libram of Constitution
Hand in: Mathredis Firestar - Burning Steppes
Reward: +100 hp
1 Black Diamond
1 Lung Juice Cocktail (Blasted Lands quests - http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8411 )
1 Night Dragon's Breath (Felwood quests - read notes at http://thottbot.com/?i=2948 )

Libram of Rumination
Hand in: Mathredis Firestar - Burning Steppes
Reward: +150 mana
1 Black Diamond
1 Black Blood of the Tormented (Drop - http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=11752 )
1 Gizzard Gum (Blasted Lands quests - http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8424 )

Libram of Tenacity
Hand in: Mathredis Firestar - Burning Steppes
Reward: +125 armour
1 Black Diamond
4 Crystal Ward (10 red & 10 green crystals at West Pylon in Un'Goro Crater)
1 Eye of Kajal (Drop - http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=11753 )

Libram of Focus
Hand in: Lorekeeper Lydros - Dire Maul
Reward: +8 healing and damage from spells
1 Pristine Black Diamond
4 Large Brilliant Shards
2 Skin of Shadow (Drop - http://thottbot.com/?i=21577 )

Libram of Protection
Hand in: Lorekeeper Lydros - Dire Maul
Reward: +1% to dodge
1 Pristine Black Diamond
2 Large Brilliant Shards
1 Frayed Abomination Stitching (Drop in Strath and anyone who's done a Baron run will know about these)

Libram of Rapidity
Hand in: Lorekeeper Lydros - Dire Maul
Reward: +1% haste to attacks (ranged/melee)
1 Pristine Black Diamond
2 Large Brilliant Shards
2 Blood of Heroes (ground spawn in WPL/EPL, spawns 1-2 60 elite ghosts)

From a quick glance it looks to me that the Dire Maul quests just aren't worth it, not unless you know where to farm Pristine Black Diamonds (and if you do know… SHARE THE INFO DAMMIT )

To get the plants for Voracity & Constitution:
A: http://thottbot.com/?q=1240
H: http://thottbot.com/?q=1087
Basically kill a lot of trees in the cave at Felwood 56,17
You get given a lantern to help with the second part.

The quests are called "Salve via XXXXXXXXXX"
A: http://thottbot.com/?s=Arathandris+Silversky
H: http://thottbot.com/?s=Maybess+Riverbreeze
There are different ways to get the hand in items for the second part… I chose hunting to make life easy and just farmed the Deadwood guys in the bottom SW corner of Felwood (also good for Timbermaw rep).

Then you have to find the plant and use 3 salve on it… then just pick up the item from the now uncorrupted plant (I got 9 Whipping Root Tubers than 8 tubers from the plant in the Jadefire Felsworn / Satyr camp west of the Emerald Sanctuary).

(the above Libram information was all collated by me from sketchy resources)
(ps no I'm not back writing guides for MPS.. this is just something I've already done elsewhere and thought you'd like it )

For grinding up a shadow priest (if you're going to go holy from the start don't bother grinding, run instances for your exp) stick to mobs about your lvl until you're around 40'ish then you can move up. You can kill mobs higher than you before that of course, but the xp/hour will be less. Green mobs are your friend.

Before you hit shadow form and have improved VE I would pull with mindblast, drpo a SW:P on the mob, shield, flay once or twice and then wand the rest of the way. With shadowform and imp VE I drop the PW:S (Power Word Shield) as it's incredibly mana ineffeciant and VE will top me off almost all the way during the course of every fight.

IMHO First Aid should be learned by every class and I have my first aid right up there as well, but I don't waste bandages during grinding sessions. Generally I'll sit down and eat some food when I have to drink every so often. Many of the higher level foods will give you nifty abilities such as increasing stam and spirit for 15 minutes if you spend 10 seconds eating it. I also love to have mages on the friends list that will drop me a stack of 80 conjured water as it saves on drink costs during long (10 hour+) grinding sessions.

When you're starting out wanding is a must and even at a higher level wanding is a must. When wanding you also get out of FSR (Five Second Rule) so you can begin regenerating mana quicker. When spirit tap kicks in it's almost as good as drinking. In addition your first wand should always be Lesser Magic Wand:

http://thottbot.com/?i=1325

This is made by a low level enchanter, you can use it at lvl 5, and it pumps out 11.3 DPS (can be had for very cheap as well).

I ended up with Cookies Stiring Rod next ( http://thottbot.com/?i=6502 ) which is from the DeadMine but the Greater Magic Wand (again from an enchanter) is another wonderful wand: http://thottbot.com/?i=1318

Greater Magic Wand: lvl 13 and 17.5 damage per second
Cookies Stiring Rod: lvl 17 and 22.3 damage per second

After those wands there's not much you can get on the cheap from enchanters for wands, you'll be looking at green drops.

For pure grinding I like a good mix of int/spi but don't get too hung up in stats. Once you hit lvl 40 and get Shadowform everything becomes a lot more fun.

I've just finished a new character to 60, a Rogue, and i chose to go through the game only doing instance quests and the ones at the start to get to lvl 12 or so, and i grinded every single bit of XP apart from that to reach 60, and in this process i have found so many great grinding spots and money spots i couldn't believe it and ended up reaching lvl 60 with 1100g and all my items up to date, and since these kinda posts have dried up on the site a bit i thought i would make one.

Hi All,

I've just finished a new character to 60, a Rogue, and i chose to go through the game only doing instance quests and the ones at the start to get to lvl 12 or so, and i grinded every single bit of XP apart from that to reach 60, and in this process i have found so many great grinding spots and money spots i couldn't believe it and ended up reaching lvl 60 with 1100g and all my items up to date, and since these kinda posts have dried up on the site a bit i thought i would make one. So I'll try and remember all of them that i can, if i forget any and remember ill post em up later, enjoy.

Money / Xp Grinding Spots ::

Salt Flats - 7 / 10
If you are lvl 30 - 36 you can goto the salt flats, i would recommend a bit higher then lvl 30 if you want to grind but, because you will have to rest after every fight and cant grind very efficiently, i went at lvl 32. The Salt flats have a wide range of beats including Turtles, Basilisks, Vultures and Scorpions. These mobs are all good for xp, as they are around the lvl range i said before, but they drop heaps of random bits and pieces, like shells, wings, bones, scales, claws etc. These parts all stack in lots of 5 or 10, and there are loads of them down there so you can build up a fair bit quite quickly, and this stuff really adds up when u go to sell it at a vendor, i had no trouble making up around 10g after a few hours, and heaps of xp to. 10g might not sound much to higher lvls but makes mount money a lot faster to get.

Tanaris Turtles - 8 / 10
All along the coastline from a little north of Steemwhindle Port, or however you spell it, to up near Lost Rigger Cove, there are turtles called Snapjaws, which range in lvl from 42 - 45 from memory and are a Neutral Mob until you attack them, which makes grinding them that much easier when there is no aggro to worry about. These Turtles are great, as well as having great xp, they drop scales, and shell fragments which sell for a lot, a stack of 5 shell fragments is around 50s, and scales sell for a couple of silver each also i think. On top of this they drop Big - Mouth Clams, which can contain Black, Iredescent and Small Lusterous Pearls, which also sell great on AH. I had no trouble making a lot of money on these guys, just watch out for the opposing faction handing in Quests at the NPC's around there, i got ganked a few times. But really these guys are great, if you are around that level give them a try, i made about 50g off them in the few lvls i was there, i got about 12 Green Items to.

Lost Rigger Cove - 9.9 / 10
What can i say, i absolutely love this place, its incredible to say the least. This cove is filled with lvl 44 - 46 humanoid pirates, and stacks of them. The Humanoids drop Silver, Mageweave Cloth, Common Grey Weapons that sell at a vendor for almost 1g each, Lockboxes and all sorts of Green / Blue and Epic Items. I grinded lvl 45 - 49 here, even at 49 when the xp was getting low, it was to good to leave. You get heaps of mageweave, which i sell on AH for 1g Per Stack, or you can vendor for 50s a stack. They drop lockboxes, the lockboxes contain random vendor junk, silver and sometimes map fragments, or a key. The map fragments are for a chest you can find on another beach in tanaris, once you have all 3 parts, this chest has minimum 3 green items, u can get blue items in it if your lucky. The Key that may drop, is for a chest in a pirate ship in the area, which also has a green item and possibly blue. But by far the best part about this area, there is always 2 Large Solid Chests that spawn around the area, and out of these chests i got so much stuff, Herbs, Food, Blue and Green Items, Truesilver, Mithril etc, just a whole lot of random stuff that you can sell for money. And as soon as you get both of them, about 5 minutes later they are spawning again somewhere else. Out of these chests, i personally got 21 Green and 3 Blue items during my grinding, not to mention the other stuff in them. Andre Firebeard, the named captain mob in the area, is for a quest, so once again just be on the lookout for ppl doing that quest, but i rarely saw a sole while i was grinding. I Made 600g from this area, I found 2 Epic Items while i was grinding there, a Perfectly Calibrated Boomstick and a Ring of Saviours, now this is a random world drop as you know, so there is no saying they will drop for you, but the amount of mobs you can kill down there in short time is huge as there are so many of them, and they respawn fairly quickly. The only reason i won't give this place 10, is because at some of the tents, where the chests spawn, there are sets of 2 pirates, and they are linked, and this can be a pain in the arse, cause if your not a rogue and cant sap one, or a mage and sheep one, then you gotta fight two of em. But they don’t have that much HP so it really isn't to hard. But i must insist you try this place, it is very, very good.

Dunemaul Ogres - 8 / 10
These guys are in 3 different area's of tanaris, the Dunemaul Compound and the East / West Moon Ruins. I must insist if you are going to grind them, go out to the ruins further north into tanaris, as the main compound it used for questing frequently and you will have problems. The reason these guys are good is a bit different to the others. The main advantage of them is that they are really easy to kill, they range in lvl from 45 - 49 so you can grind them for ages, i did until lvl 52 or so. The main drops are mageweave, common grey weapons and silver, i got 2 Blue and about 13 Greens there also though. They drop the cloth fairly often so you can build it up quite fast, and as i mentioned before you can make a fair bit of money with it, there is also constantly Purple Lotus spawning around the ruins for any herbalists that grind there, this stuff is worth money on AH. Not much else to say about em, they are just good.

I can't be bothered writing anymore ATM, but i will do more for lower level spot's and higher level ones soon and post a Part 2, there is lots more good information to come =), remember, this guide is from personal experience, i can't gaurantee the drops i got for anyone else but i can promise you they provide good chance and great grinding, enjoy. - Xilli

Okay. I decided to pick up engineering, Here's the guide that I created last night, trying to spend the least amount of gold I could. (...)

Okay. I decided to pick up engineering, Here's the guide that I created last night, trying to spend the least amount of gold I could. I must admit that it's about 70 gold for EVERYthing, But in the end, you'll have like 20-25 gold in your pocket. This is the Quick and Dirty way. If you can't keep up with the bill, I suggest getting mining, as it alleviates nearly 90% of your costs when you just straight mine to 300.
First is the shopping list of all items I used in my powerlevel. You WILL have leftovers on most things but I padded for the unlucky.
Next is the List itself. What to skill up on until the level desired. For instance, 1-40 means stop doing it when you get your 40th profession point. Next, what typically you can do with the item. Then, AHed ingredients and finally the ingredients in ONE make of the crafted item.

Also, please leave comments.

—————————————————————-
Shopping list of items needed:

90 Rough Stones (AH)
80 Coarse Stones(AH)
70 Heavy Stones(AH)
60 Solid Stones(AH)
50 Dense Stones(AH)
10 Wooden Stock (EVend)
29 Weak Flux (EVend)
50 Heavy Leather(AH)
10 Wool Cloth (AH)
33 Runecloth(AH)
51 Copper Bars(AH)
10 Silver Bars(AH)
55 Bronze Bars(AH)
15(*19) Iron Bars(AH)
*4 Coal (EVend)
4 Steel Bars (*get a blacksmith to make from iron and coal, MUCH cheaper.)
106 Mithril Bars *cringes, sorry.*(AH)
159 Thorium Bars *runs*(AH)
—————————————————————-

Engineering trainers are usually found in major cities.
Artisan engineers can be found in Orgrimmar and Ironforge.
The single master engineer (for all engineers) can be found in Gadgetzan in Tanaris. Grats.—

—————————————————————-
Pick up Schematics that help out:

'Discombulator Ray':
1.You need a DELTA ACCESS security card. It's a low % drop in gnomeregan, so getting it is the hardest part. I've found 3 off of the mobs coming from the back door. You can also find it from AH though in some cases. The important part about delta security card is that it is not BoP, so once you have gotten your schematic, sell it to someone else.
2. You must have 160 engineering.
3. Learn the schematic directly from 3500-D terminals on the way to Thermaplugg from the back door, in the engineering labs.
*4. Now, I have heard also that Alliance need to have the Red Access card, as well, but I did not have it when I got the ability.

'Schematics: Repair bot 74A':
Learn this from a scroll on the ground next to Golem Lord Argelmach in BRD at 300 engineering. (First of all, you'll need the Shadowforge Key.
1. Take your first left, unlock the gate, run up to the gate on the right, unlock that, run up to the door on the left, unlock it.
2. Walk up to the big gear in this room, and unlock the chain.
3. Run up the ramp in this room, take the left up the stairs, then follow the hallways. You'll come to a room with about 4 fire elementals, stairs going down on the left, and a ramp going down on the right. Go right.
4. Ahead of you will be many non-elite gnomes and elite elementals standing around. Go straight down from the ramp until you come to a room with a named, and two elementals guarding him.
5. The plans are to your right.)
It takes 12 Thorium Bars, 4 Rugged Leather, 1 Fused Wiring, 2 Elemental Earth, and 1 Elemental Fire. It has only 1 charge before it is expended. Not cheap.

—————————————————————-
—Types of Artisan Engineering—

The Master Gnome engineer is in Booty Bay.
The Master Goblin engineer is in Gadgetzan. These trainers will give you a task to complete to join
that society. Note that you don't need to choose either, as it is not linked to learning
artisan engineering at level 35 at all.

For your Goblin engineering quest:
20 Big Iron Bombs (190) (3x Iron Bar 3x Heavy Blasting Powder 1x Silver Contact)
20 Solid Dynamite (175) (1x Solid Blasting Powder 1x Silk Cloth)
5 Explosive Sheep (150)
(1x Bronze Framework 1x Whirring Bronze Gizmo 2x Heavy Blasting Powder 2x Wool Cloth)

For your Gnome engineering quest:
6 Mithril Tubes (195) (3x Mithril Bar)
1 Accurate Scope (180) (1x Bronze Tube 1x Jade 1x Citrine)
2 Advanced Target Dummies (185)
(1x Iron Strut 1x Bronze Framework 1x Gyrochronatom 4x Heavy Leather)

Goblin is the realm of BOOM. You get a wider variety of and more powerful explosives. Unfortunately the dragon gun and the mortar still trigger the shared explosive reuse timer, though they are on seperate cooldowns.

Goblin engineering produces the following:
1) (205) Goblin mining hat (AC 190, +15 sta, +5 mining, mail armor, BoP) (You no take candle!)
2) (205) Goblin construction hat (AC 44, +15 fire resist, cloth, BoP) Use: absorb 300 to 500 fire damage for 1 minute.
3) (205) Goblin sapper charge (explosive, limited use) Damage enemies around you for a lot while damaging you
for slightly less.
4) (205) Goblin Rocket Fuel recipe (creates a recipe) create recipes for alchemists, who in turn can supply you
with goblin rocket fuel, necessary for some schematics.
5) (205) Goblin Mortar (explosive, 6 uses) Has a minimum and maximum range. Binds on equip, so you can
recharge your own mortar (using the Mortar: Reloaded schematic gained at the same time) for significantly
fewer resources than a new mortar, but cannot recharge anyone elses as it is soulbound to them.
Also worth noting is that this item apparently still causes a 'stun' effect instead of a 'disorient' effect,
which is somewhat more useful. However, the radius is smaller than listed, probably 6 yards instead of 10.
6) (225) Goblin Rocket Boots (AC 41, cloth) These boots are one of the few items usable by those without
the engineering skill. They allow fast running for a short period of time, but are prone to explosion.
7) (230) Goblin Bomb Dispenser (trinket, BoP) Can create one bomb that behaves as an exploding sheep, every
30 minutes.
Cool (235) The Big One (explosive, 2 uses) A massive bomb that deals high damage in a huge radius. Has a
longer than usual activation time.
9) (240) Goblin Dragon Gun (trinket, BoP) A 10-second channel creates a cone of flame that deals damage each second.
10(?)) (245) Goblin Rocket Helmet (AC 50, +15 sta, cloth) Allows you to charge an enemy, knocking it unconscious
for 30 seconds and yourself for less time. Damage ends the effect.

Gnomish is the realm of devices. Trinkets for every occasion. If you are satisfied with the amount of explosives from standard engineering, go gnomish for utility.

Gnomish engineering produces the following:
1) (205) Gnomish Shrink Ray (trinket) temporarily reduces target's attack power by 250. this can also backfire
on the user, causing them to shrink or grow.
2) (205) Inlaid mithril cylinder plans (creates a recipe) creates plans for blacksmiths, who in turn can
provide you with mithril cylinders, necessary for some schematics.
3) (210) Gnomish Goggles (AC 45, +9 agi, +9 sta, +9 spi, cloth, BoP) goggles with agility
4) (210) Gnomish Net-O-Matic Projector (trinket) Roots target for 10 seconds, 10 minute cooldown. Can backfire
and root the user instead.
5) (215) Gnomish Harm Prevention belt (AC 66, +6 sta, leather) Use: blocks 500 damage over the next minute,
but can also temporarily remove the user from reality.
6) (225) Gnomish rocket boots (AC 41, cloth) requires engineering to use, but cannot be destroyed like the
goblin version.
7) (230) Gnomish Battle Chicken (trinket, BoP) summons a combat chicken for 90 seconds. 30 minute cooldown.
Cool (235) Gnomish mind control cap (AC 50, +14 spi, cloth) allows mind control of your target for a short time.
9) (240) Gnomish death ray (trinket, BoP) a 4-second channel deals damage to you each second, and then releases
more than the total amount at your target. Aggros as you start channeling.

Those are the big differences I know of. It's purely a matter of preference. Keep in mind that aside from the ones that are Bind of Pickup, you can trade/buy to get most of the other's products!

Hello again, it was long time since i wrote here. I've had some family issues aswell as BC coming up. Now when i have my Blood Elf Paladin at lvl 70 i decided to write my second part of the guide 'How to make gold before level 60', but i'm now editing it to 'How to make gold before level 70'.

The guide

PART TWO: STRATEGY AND METHOD

One very important thing that everyone must think about before they level up their character is how they want it in the end. Ask yourself these questions for example:

Do you want to be exalted with a specific faction when you ding max level?

Do you want to PvP or PvE?

Do i want to grind alot or perhaps quest alot?

These and alot of other questions are very important for how your character will develop. You can of course do all of these things but the problem is that not everyone has time for this because of different real life issues and therefore has to read in a guide like this to solve this problem. Because we all want to be the best of the best, right?

Say that you create an Dwarf Priest, you decide that you want to go exalted with Darnassus so you can get the tiger mount easy later on. Then you will have to move all the way to Terdasill to quest for easy Night Elf reputation. This is an example of how you plan your characters future.

With the release of Burning Crusade many people made misstakes, well, not really misstakes… but they took a path that would be very meaningless.
You probably wonder what they did, and i will tell you.
Once they reached outlands they started questing, and questing means more experience of course but there is one problem. Many of the different instances in outlands is reputation based. With this i mean that you for example need to be revered with one specific instance to go inside it in heroic mode on lvl 70. Now to get revered with a faction most people problably know that you will need quite some amount of reputation.
Let me give you a hint what happened after everyone leveled to 70.

First we take a random character name, lets call him Yuri.
Yuri quested 60-70 and by doing that he was first to ding 70 on the server. Yuri was of course happy but suddenly he noticed that all instances in the game needed revered to be able to enter in heroic mode.
But Yuri had already done all quests for that faction and by this Yuri was only honored. Now Yuri had to farm instances for 1 week to open the instance and alot of people passed him because of better strategy.

The second player, Sayic, decided to do instances to level 70 with some grinding involved. When he dinged 70 he had only done some non faction binded quests aswell as lots of instances. He had awsome gear and was honored with all the factions. What did he need?
Well as said before he needed revered. But because Sayic had saved all his quests for the faction he managed to do all the quest for the faction very easy because he was so high level and therefore gained revered in one afternoon.

If you now analyse these two different players stratergies, wich one of them was the best?

In my opinion the lazy one with instance grinding to 70.
Remember that a smart player is a lazy player.

Now there are different methods of leveling through the game, and they all differ in difficulties.
The main leveling methods are Questing and Grinding. And then you can of course do these in different ways like AoE grinding or Single mob grinding.

The fastest way for a beginner aswell as a professional would probably be questing. Remember that if you want low /played time like Joana or any other powergamer. PLAY AS THEY DO!

Think like this when you are online:

Am i totaly ready to level?
Am i sure i wont go do something else?

Speed is the key… and if you start to do other things like ALT+TAB out and look on webpages , you might aswell just logout.

————————————————————————————

Now remember, the key to fortune is to learn the AH. And it is actually not very hard to understand it, actually it is very much like our own stock market. If demands go up the prices follow, if they go down so does the prices.

So now you probably want to put up some strategy for your item selling. You want to sell the item, think like the buyer.
Would i pay this much money for this item?
If you answer yes then put it up on AH for that price.
Remember it is not bad to undercut other people's items, it will just raise your chance of getting your item sold witch will enable you to earn more money.

————————————————————————————–

Now do you remember what i said about instance grinding in BC, just think about all the gold you will get from the quests you saved, because you will get money instead of the experience you were suppose to get for the quest. If you just do this to level 70 and then do the quests you are guarranted an epic flying mount.

——————————

Now for some final info for you guys who still havent farmed enough gold for your epic flying mount.

There are 2 really good grinding areas,
The first one is in Nagrand on the ogres, these drop alot of money, netherweave and also give rep!!!
And the other one (wich is in my opinion the best) are the water creatures around Terokkar Forest, these drop insainely amount of good loot.

/// Good luck with the questing and instancing in BC

Kind Regards
Marvid

If you can mind control someone on the opposing team, and have the mind control active when they die, they will not be able to ressurect. They are now tagged as your faction and can't find a graveyard. It's possible that the only way to fix this right now is to log out/log in or afk out and get the deserter debuff.

Steps:

1. One faction priest (or possibly an engineer with MC cap) casts MC on opposing faction team member.

2. MC is still active when they die.

3. The dead player is now out of the game for a while.

Angerclaw Maulers Felwood, X37, Y44. (...)

Angerclaw Maulers
Felwood, X37, Y44.

I've posted about this spot before awhile back but I'm taking it upon myself to do so again because I have made a sickly amount of gold here latley, and a very disturbing amount in the past 2 weeks.

As a 60 Rogue in full epic gear(bloodfang) I can kill these in about 7 seconds each, literally. The respawn rate is insanely fast, When you kill the whole spawn camp of them which is about 11-12 and take a 1 minute break you'll start having respawns to kill.

Where does the money come from you ask?

Firstly you have some stackable gray items that are very commonly dropped:

Large Bear Bone(Non-Stackable) - 14s 84c each
Bear Jaw(Stackable) - 8s 98c — 89s 80c per Stack of 10.
Savage Bear Claw(Stackable) - 5s 78c — 57s 80c per Stack of 10.
Bear Flank(Stackable) - 5s 78c — 57s 80c per Stack of 10.
Wicked Claw(Stackable) - 5s — 25s per Stack of 5.

I make anywhere from 9 to 13g in gray items per hour here.

Even without the skinning compared to most places this is a great camp for gold/hr. But skinning is where a lot of the money to come from if you want the results like I get.

You can skin Rugged and Thick leather off of these. My server prices are 2.50g per stack of Rugged and 1.50g per stack of Thick. Server prices are going to range, The intake of gold on this obviously is based only on my servers prices, But you will still make amazing gold here if you put the time in.

So where does all the money come from?
I take 8 hours a day and I run it here, Straight. Not every day, Usually in the evenings and into the late hours on the nights I'm not raiding and ocasionally if there is a third day I'll get up around 7am to start and I can be done around mid afternoon so I can enjoy the day or do something else in game.

A single hour run brings on brings me in 6 Stacks of Rugged Leather and 5 stacks of Thick Leather. I don't know if it's because my kill rate is fast or just pure luck, But I can't remember when I have come away from this with less leather then that in an hours run.

6x 2.50g = 15g per hour
5x 1.50g = 7.5g per hour

If I average out my usual grey items income per hour then I come away with 10.5g per hour. I'm going to edit this tomorrow and record all of my drops and leather intake from my 8 hours, But this is accurate. I've been making money like this for months now.

Now, On to the juicy part…

Intake per hour based on Leather sales on the AH is 22.50g Per HOUR.

Intake per hour based on sellable greys averages out at about 10.50g

33 gold per hour.
Wipe the drool off keyboard and keep reading

I run this 8 hours per day, Two days a week. Sometimes 3 but rarely. Skinning is obviously required to get the bigger chuck of change for your time. Some of you all day BG'ers could make litterally thousands of gold here in a week if you took a week off from all day long BG and went here, Just a thought. And I'm not exaggerating. Thousands.

I try to run these 2 days back to back and I generally refuse to put up my auctions and vendor until I have my 16 hours worth of loot. I just throw it all in the bank.

At the end of my 2 days I usually end up taking 510g - 545g out of my mailbox. +- a few gold for randomness of drops.

I have over 5000g in my bag right now. If you want an exact number then it's 5649g.
All of that gold was made in this spot except about 600g.

Maybe some of you should thinking of switching professions
